Philosophischer Salon
Philosophical Salon
What is the meaning of life, the essence of the world, the position of man in the world? What can I know? What should I do? What can I hope? In this seminar we want to philosophize, reflect, speculate together. The setting is Café Leye, directly in the pedestrian zone of downtown Witten. The Philosophical Salon comprises a total of five Thursday evenings. On each date, we will deal with a different text and use it as a basis for asking ourselves the above-mentioned questions. These will be brought along by invited philosophers and experts, who will enter into conversation with us and guide the discussion.
