Joseph Beuys: Werkbegegnungen. Ein Exkursionsseminar
Joseph Beuys: Encounters with his works. An excursion seminar
Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) is without doubt one of the great artistic personalities of the 20th century. The seminar aims to explore his artistic thinking and work in direct encounters with his works. Full-day excursions are planned to Krefeld (Kaiser-Wilhelm Museum) and Kassel (Neue Galerie), among other places, in order to intensively analyse Beuys’ works there. Other possible excursion destinations are the K20 in Düsseldorf and Museum Schloss Moyland in Bedburg-Hau. A preliminary meeting at the beginning of the semester will clarify organisational questions.
