Die Straße knackt - Hörspiel selbstgemacht
The road cracks – radio play self-made
Berlin, 1915. Characters who don’t inspire confidence hang around on the street and have a wicked nightlife. While curiosity and indifference stare out the windows. “The Street”, the famous painting by George Grosz: None of the figures look at the others. Above that, a bright red night. But suddenly the blood rushes into the characters’ veins. They gain life, start talking, leave the picture frame. That shouldn’t have happened now… So much for the setting of the radio play that is to be realized in this two-semester seminar. The radio play is developed together in all production steps: The “script” was written last winter semester, and now it’s time to act the scenes, compose acoustic backdrops, sound and music tracks – and finally mix it! To make the radio play a real listening experience. After all the radio play will be presented to the public at the beginning of July.
