Moving & Meeting – From Movement to Encounter
The seminar „Moving & Meeting – From Movement to Encounter“ teaches body awareness, self awareness, and awareness of others.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of perception of themselves and those around them. Drawing on the principles of the Alexander Technique, the course introduces a natural sense of alignment and ease of movement that allows for greater inner strength, freedom, and efficiency while reducing unnecessary effort.
Through moments of stillness and movement, attention and intention, participants are invited to explore positive changes in both their thinking and their embodied experience. Simple, anatomically precise movements provide the basis for developing essential qualities such as presence, self awareness, connection to self, freedom of breath, body awareness, and playfulness.
The seminar also creates dedicated spaces for rest and quiet, supporting both body and mind.
The course concludes with a visit to a nursing home in Witten, where participants engage playfully with residents, experiencing moments of lightness, joy, and meaningful connection across generations.
The competencies developed throughout the seminar are intended to support participants both personally and professionally, with effects that extend beyond the duration of the course.
