Painting, Drawing and Meditation: Creating Feminine Transition Spaces
Exclusively for Women
The university transforms into a sanctuary of the senses: we are enveloped by pigments, pencils, paper, ink, and sound. A dedicated time to experience, discover, experiment, and discard. We shape playgrounds of possibility: an interdisciplinary exploration weaving together physical presence, sonic resonance, and the daring venture of the intuitive trace.
We embrace this seminar as a conscious Transition Space — a threshold where we interrupt the reactive, relentless chase of our accelerated, digital everyday lives. Within an atmosphere of warmth and intimacy, we cultivate an architecture of silence and aesthetic form to nurture our psychological integrity.
In a world predominantly geared toward cognitive analysis, efficiency, and measurable outcomes, the development of individual sovereignty of action within the novel and the uncertain often remains a void. Yet, the very ability to remain agency-driven in complex, unstructured situations is a core competence of modern life and leadership. This seminar bridges that chasm by utilizing the visual arts as a phenomenological practice ground, bringing our profound, inner presence back to light.
The atelier setting seamlessly weaves artistic experimentation (painting & drawing), contemplative preparation (mindfulness & embodiment), and auditory resonance (sound, body, & language) into a holistic path of experience. The focus is explicitly not on achieving a predetermined goal, but rather on the shared, appreciative reflection of an open, lived process. We experience presence, resonance, and interconnectedness within unfolding journeys. New perspectives open new doors.
This shared experience reframes the venture of art and the complexity of life, transforming them into something playful and weightless. And, almost effortlessly, captivating, authentic, and surprising images emerge.
Dipl.
