Kazuma Matoba
Despite the eviction of the Calais ‘Jungle’ in October 2016, there are still around 1,500
refugees sleeping rough in the forests in northern France. They are not just statistic
numbers, are human with faces and names. The goal of this seminar is to humanize faceless
refugees by witnessing and helping them as volunteer in Calais. Before this excursion you will get the knowledge about the method of Global Social Witnessing to develop your bearing-witness-competence.
