Ars Electronica. Festival für Kunst, Technologie und Gesellschaft (Seminar und Exkursion)
Die Exkursion zum Festival Ars Electronica wird visuell wie intellektuell herausfordernd sein, weil es ein imposantes Angebot an Ausstellungen, Vorträgen, Gesprächen, Konzerten, Performances und Workshops gibt.
Gemeinsam werden wir uns in den zwei Seminarblöcken in den Leitgedanken der Ars Electronica einarbeiten und uns auf das Festivalthema 2025 vorbereiten. Es entstehen Kosten für die individuelle An- und Abreise, die Übernachtungen in Linz und den Festivalpass. Exkursion (03.-05.09.25)

Ars Electronica. Festival for Art, Technology and Society (seminar and excursion)
Ars Electronica in Linz is one of the most inspiring festivals where interdisciplinarity between art and science is practised and promoted. Ars Electronica began in 1979 as a festival for art, technology and society. Since then, artists, technologists and theorists have come together in Linz to explore the possibilities of technological innovation and its impact on the environment and society. Each year, the festival has a special theme. The festival theme for 2025 will be announced in spring.
The excursion to the Ars Electronica Festival will be both visually and intellectually challenging, as there will be an impressive range of exhibitions, lectures, talks, concerts, performances and workshops.
During the two seminar blocks, we will familiarise ourselves with the guiding principles of Ars Electronica and prepare ourselves for the festival theme 2025. There are costs for individual travel to and from the festival, accommodation in Linz and the festival pass. Excursion (03.-05.09.25)
A shared accommodation in the centre of Linz has already been reserved.

Renate Buschmann
Renate Buschmann beschäftigt sich als Wissenschaftlerin und Kuratorin mit zeitgenössischer Kunst. Sie ist Professorin für Digitale Künste und Kulturvermittlung am WittenLab der UW/H.
