Cologne is a city rich in art. Chronologically, its artistic heritage ranges from late antiquity to the present day; institutionally, it is represented in churches, museums, private collections, galleries, and off-spaces. The seminar aims to offer insights into Cologne’s art across different periods through short excursions and walks. Rather than striving for completeness, it focuses on exciting and surprising encounters with art. The seminar will be organised in consultation with the participants.
