Drawing – we go outdoor!
If you are looking for inspiration and motifs for drawing, the summer semester is a great time to explore the area around the university. Landscapes, architecture, people, animals, vegetation, everyday situations—all of these just need to be discovered and consciously observed in order to engage with them through drawing. It does not always have to be a representational depiction. The study of nature can serve as a starting point for abstraction or as an impulse for any free artistic interpretation. The seminar introduces a variety of materials and drawing techniques that you can explore experimentally and practically to determine which forms of drawing interest you most and that you wish to pursue in greater depth. Examples from art history can provide inspiration for your own ideas and help you develop them further.

Ich lebe und arbeite als bildende Künstlerin in Witten. Schwerpunkt meiner Arbeit ist "die Farbe". Das Interesse am Zusammenhang von Farbmaterial und Farberscheinung führt von der großformatigen Malerei auf Leinwand, über serielle Werkgruppen, bis hin zu raumbezogenen Installationen, bzw. "Kunst am Bau" projekten, bei denen Farbe und Licht eine Rolle spielen. Die Arbeiten werden regelmäßig im In- und Ausland gezeigt und sind u.a. auch in den Sammlungen einiger Ruhrkunstmuseen vertreten.
Seit meinem Ruf an die UWH 2006 als artist in residence gebe ich Seminare im Bereich der bildenden Kunst mit verschiedenen Themenschwerpunkten im Zeichnen und Malen.
Als ausgebildete Kunsttherapeutin arbeite ich in einer Klinik und in freier Praxis.
