“Domestic violence — it concerns us all. But how can domestic violence be dealt with in a professional setting?”
This course examines the topic of "domestic violence" on various levels.
It explores where domestic violence occurs, how it can be detected and what possibilities exist to sensitise oneself and others to it and to deal with it in a professional setting.
The course participants decide whether they want to focus on the health sector, the social sector, the police or the justice system. Financing also plays a major role, making this course relevant to all UW/H students.
Dr. Andrea Schlicker
