Introductory Lecture – The Scientific Basic Idea of Anthroposophy
Is there a “spiritual” world—and can it be studied scientifically? To approach these questions, we will begin by presenting and critically examining phenomena such as near-death experiences, memories of reincarnation, and mediumship. We will then explore anthroposophy as a potential epistemological method for gaining insight into a spiritual world. In doing so, we will engage with current scientific literature, personal accounts, and foundational anthroposophical texts. The course offers space for discussion, critical reflection, and inquiry. It serves as an introductory course on the basic principles and scientific aspirations of anthroposophy.
