The Art of Listening
There are more and more people who have more or less everything. But there are fewer and fewer people they can confide in. The number of people who feel lonely in Germany has risen rapidly over the last 6 years. momo hört zu e.V. has created a solution for this: The first listening room in Munich. In this listening room, trained listeners listen to people without judgement or intention. There will also be a listening room in Witten, for which listening can be learnt as part of the StuFu.
The MOMO training is a live online course that teaches the practice of non-judgemental listening. It is based on concepts from psychology, as well as social and contemplative neuroscience. You take part in the training and reflect on your learning success in the group and in writing. You will participate in the evaluation of the course and/or in research projects on the topic of listening and connectedness.
